National Western Stock Show Parade

Thursday January 8th, 2026

Everybody Loves a Parade!! Find your red scarf, clean your saddle, dust off your hat and let’s get ready for the parade!! The National Western Stock Show kick-off Parade is Thursday January 8th, 2026.

The Roundup Riders have a long history of participating in this iconic event – 50 plus years! In the past we’ve had nearly 50 horse riders, all wearing their red scarves and supporting a true western tradition. The crowds are fantastic, and they really appreciate being able to see real cowboys and horses. Please plan to wear a red scarf like we did last year.

This year we will be offering all Pioneers a chance to ride on the Hay Wagon generously provided by Mark Moore. The wagon will be pulled by Tanner Isaacs with the 3R truck.  Seats are limited to 15 so make your reservations early.

Staging will be from 9:00AM to 11:00AM. Coffee, juice, and donuts will be available. Come early and enjoy catching up with your 3R brothers. We will have breakfast burritos available for the first 30 riders who show up, so come early.

Like before, staging will take place in Lot B of Coors field, using the Walnut and 33rd Street parking Lot B entrance. You will exit I-25 at Park Avenue and then go past Wazee Street two streets to a left on Walnut Street/Market Street, then take Walnut Street down to the left turn on 33rd Street.

As in past events, immediately following the parade we will be celebrating over lunch at The Original Brooklyn’s Restaurant located just south of the Broncos Mile High Stadium, 2644 West Colfax Avenue, 80204. Brooklyn’s has promised to have enough staff on hand, but we need to give them an accurate count, so please make sure you RSVP for how many in your group will attend lunch.

Please RSVP for the parade and/or lunch.
All horses are required to have a health certificate within 30 Days and a EHV Temp Sheet
